You should create a small, empty CVF to play with. Create a small CVF Mount it Change to it Run CORRUPT.BAT What CORRUPT.BAT does is first run BUST, a small C program that writes and deletes a large number of small files to simulate heavy disk usage. Then it uses the DOS COPY command, with the verify switch for safety, to copy some files. The COPY command will suceed along with the verify. Then it compares the original files with the destination files. In many cases, many of the destination files will contain NOTHING but zeros! Use this program to see if your DoubleSpace setup is working correctly. Read DBL-READ.TXT for instructions on DoubleCheck, a utility which monitors DoubleSpace for dangerous conditions and signs of past trouble.
